Firstly when you turn on the fan the motor makes a grinding nose as if it thinking what to mdo, then when it decides to run it defaults to the highest speed and real slow in reacting to the remote tryingmto set it to lower speed. Forget about trying to reverse rotation, it goes into the grinding noise, then stalls and then starts. . . If it were not too much trouble I would have returned it"
