using dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch. Installation was fairly easy. What took the longest was the placement of the crystals, but it was worth it. Once it was installed and we turned on the lights, it was beautiful. The lights gently reflect off of the crystals and looks amazing. This chandelier would be perfect for a master bedroom, living room, dining room, closet, etc. I decided to install this in my master bedroom closet and it looks great. I am very pleased with this chandelier and would definitely recommend it for any medium to large size room.

This is a beautiful light. We had a bit of an issue with the old wiring so it took us a while to figure out the two extra wire that came with the house. The light itself had 3 wires, a standard mounting base and the plastic crystal strings that needed to be hooked individually all around the light. Because our ceiling had a huge cut out. We used the old medallion base to cover the ceiling. It turn out beautiful, a huge enhancement to the look of the light. You will need your own light bulbs.

When I first saw this Parrot Uncle semi flush chandelier, it reminded me of a lamp that was in my grandmother’s home. It has that old world charm yet looks modern, glamorous, and traditional. I had to have it. I am very impressed at how intricate the detailing around the edge is and to be honest, I don’t think the black finish does it justice. I do plan to remove it and paint it a more brilliant color, either rust, copper or gold. It’s very heavy metal, even without the crystals, so make sure the junction box is very secure. Very easy to install too, and as usual includes a very detailed installation instruction book with diagrams. The crystal’s which are so classy, are very easy to install and have silver clips to better blend in with the glass crystals. I have several Parrot Uncle ceiling fans and lights and they are definitely one of my favorite lighting brands. At first I thought I wanted to update my home to farmhouse but since installing a couple of these gorgeous lights, it’s glam all the way. Takes three candelabra bulbs.
