I just received this Parrot Uncle semi-flush mounted ceiling light and it just so beautiful with the real natural shells. They are thin and see through with iridescent colors. The three tier base is an antique nickel that goes perfect with the shells. The look of the light just reminds me of the coastal homes and would look good in an entrance way or even a kitchen . It was a bit of a procedure putting each individual piece in the holes that were already in the base but looks so nice when it was done. And the sound of the shells hitting each other has a wind chime sound.
