"I had got an unfinished piece. The holes where screws connecting to fan blades will go were missing threads to let the screw climb on. Return is a waste of my time. So I went to Home Depot to get drill and tap bit , which creates them screw threads on holes. I used Milwaukee 1/4 -20 UNC and that created the threads on holes. Solved my problem. Adding this here in case anyone runs into this issue"
"Terrible experience—the remote was missing from our package; and we never received the $90 down rod we purchased. Eventually we just cancelled the down rod. Our electrician cannot make this fan work. I’m sick of dealing with this fan and all its issues."
