Awesome BIG Fan !

"The Parrot Uncle Bankston 75 Inch ceiling fan worked out perfectly for our family / kitchen great room area. We wanted a fan that would put out plenty of air movement for both area's without whipping on high speed all the time, this fan did the trick ! We can feel air movement in both area's while running it on the second low speed. This fan is made to last, it is made of all metal parts including the blade's that are aluminum, except for the frosted glass light assembly. The LED dimmable light is 10 inches and gives off plenty of lighting. The fan comes with 2 down rod's, a 4 inch and a 10 inch. We had been using a 18 inch rod, but decided to use the 10 inch to raise the fan a little to eliminate the light reflection in the TV that is mounted above the fireplace. The remote takes a special 12 volt battery that we had tp purchase, a Duracell 21/23. The instructions states that it is included, but it wasn't. The DC motor has six speeds and runs extremely quite and does NOT need to be on high speed to get plenty of air movement. We LOVE this fan !"

This Ceiling fan was easy

"This Ceiling fan was easy to install and was straight forward with the mounting and the electrical work. The packaging was well made to protect the fan blades and main motor. Assembly and installation took over an hour. Each blade feels very well made and rugged. I did take one start off because there was clearly a step missing in the instructions in how to install the light portion of the ceiling"

Nice big ceiling fan. Made

"Nice big ceiling fan. Made out of quality material even the blades are metal it’s a good fan all in all with a couple of drawback’s to me. It may be different for you but here they are 1st inspect the blades prior to installation as they may be scratched as they are metal the paint material will come off as when I was taking it out of the box everything was wrapped well but still one of my blades was scratched out of the box. 2nd the controller is a pita to get in the bracket took me 15 minutes and decided to use a butter knife to help guide it in and worked like a charm but other than those two incidents it is a good fan puts out a lot of air and it will accent my new floors when I get them installed soon"

You may or may not

"You may or may not like this specific detail but I do. It main thing I like is that the shade is plastic and it just snaps in. I’ll tell you why I like it. It’s annoying when it’s glass and you have those tiny little screws to screw in around the sides. I never get them on straight and I have cracked them before. Now for the couple little things I didn’t like. First is the remote is white. Should have made it black it would have matched the one side of the blades. Second thing is I don’t think the wood look goes very well with that antique brass color. I prefer black anyways so it’s not a big deal to me. I do like the shape of the blades they are straight."

This fan only requires ONE

"This fan only requires ONE hot neutral and ground, it has a control box that commands it via remote control. . . the light bulb is a DC one. . I wanted to use a smart plug to operate it, but fan and light can only be controlled via remote. . . I did install a smart switch which does turn it on and remembers the last setting, but no way of controlling the fan and light independently. . . if you are replacing a standard ceiling fan, you will just cap off the red wire and only one switch will turn it on. . . just leave the switch on and operate with the remote"
