Great fan but poorly designed remote
"Love the fan but not the remote. The fan runs nicely and is quiet. It has 6 speeds which is nice. The light is sufficient. Seems to be well made. The problem is I use the fan in a bedroom. I frequently want to adjust the speed of the fan during the night. Instead of 6 buttons for the 6 speeds the remote has a flat wheel that must be pressed in very specific locations to speed up, slow down, or stop the fan. There is no indent on the wheel to give a clue as to the exact location to press. Frequently I try to change the fan speed and it doesn't take. It would be better to have a remote that has a button for each speed. I called Parrot Uncle to see if I could buy a different receiver and remote. I've installed receivers on old fans and I did not find this difficult. I was told they don't sell a receiver with a different remote for this fan."
