I did attach the blades prior to hanging since I’ve done numerous fan installs despite the directions saying to attach them after I hung the main fan body. The fan is quiet and effective. Comes with a short down rod. I like the more industrial style and cage look. Uses 2 bulbs which are not included. I used LED I had on hand. Has great light from just 2 bulbs. The remote works well but is challenging to get out of its holder."

"They are making fans really easy to put together verse what it used to be. This fan was pretty easy to put together in terms of step and parts. Do still read instructions though, as I almost forgot to install the remote sensor and then would have wondered why it wasn't turning on lol. I like that there is no glass with this fan as it is easier to maintain and just dust when needed. The cap to cover the screws make it seamless to give it a nice touch. The blades have two different wood looks that. . ."

"Recieved the other day. Packaged very tightly. Easy to install. Took about 30 minutes. I feel like its a sturdy fan. Built well. No glob which makes it nice. Dont have to clean. Zero scratchs. Comes with extra screws. Has remote that screws on the wall. Definitely worth the money to buy."
