It os being placed in

"It os being placed in a small bedroom with 8 foot ceilings so we needed a ceiling fan that “hugs” the ceiling as much as possible. With the dimensions given and then measured after receiving the product, it looks like this will be exactly what we need. The box arrived with some slight damage to the card board but due to the substantial styrofoam packaging inside the box, the fan arrived undamaged. There were screws that worked themselves loose from the holes where the blades attach to the motor unit as well as the ceiling mounting bracket but they were all there. (See picture) All other parts were accounted for. It looks like changing bulbs will be a bit “clunky” but doable without too much hassle. There is a remote control that doesn’t have a bracket to mount to the wall which would be nice."

First, this fan is designed

"First, this fan is designed with no pole mount which allows the receiver to be placed above the motor not in the junction box. The fan is very easy to install. 40 minutes. I really like that it remembers how you left it. So when you turn it on the fan speed and light will be as they were when you turned it off. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the light kit. There is very little room for a screwdriver to fit for the 3 screws and the holes are not quite aligned. Mine has only 2 screws - gave up on the 3rd. I would recommend the fan. It looks nice and super easy to install"

"We wanted to install a fan in our daughter’s room since it’s the furthest from the air handler and gets warm in the summer time. This fan is what we decided on and it definitely punches above its weight class. I have installed half a dozen fans over the years and this was one of the easiest to install. The directions are only pictographs which is both good and bad. Good in that they’re easy to follow and well done. Bad in that there are a few steps that could do with some explaining such as mounting the brace to the ceiling box. There also isn’t a parts inventory anywhere, so I may or may not have had a few things left over, but made sure all screws and wire nuts shown in the directions were installed. This fan does not include any pull chains, which requires you to use the remote. Not a big deal in my opinion and the fact that it comes with a remote at this price point is fantastic. The remote includes a power button, three speed buttons, a timer with three options (2, 4, 8 hours) and the light button. I’ve definitely paid far more for fans that don’t have a remote. It also means that you don’t have to run electrical wires for wall switches. Just run a line of 14/2 to a ceiling box and you’re good to go. The flush mount shroud is great because you don’t have to tuck all the wires up into the ceiling box. They just sit on top of the motor mount and get covered up by the shroud as seen in the photos. This fan does not include light bulbs. Not an issue as the ones that are usually included with these things are subpar at best. From start to finish the fan can be installed in an hour or so with the most time consuming part being trying to get the little screws that hold the light fixture in place into their holes with the blades in the way. I do wish the blades were either black to match the rest of the fan or reversible. This fan also moves quite a bit of air on the highest setting with no perceivable wobble and runs very quietly."
