Very pretty but heavy light!
"Very pretty but heavy light! Originally ordered this light for in a custom closet as the gold would definitely add some glam. However once it arrived and I saw how well it was made and the size of it (not a real big light) I decided to use it in my front door foyer area. Also please note that each of these marble strips are shipped in a package of Styrofoam. You need to unscrew two screws for each strip and then screw them into the frame. Seeing there were all ready off I sprayed the frame and all metal parts black so I could use this light in foyer. I am not a instructions reader so then while sitting in at and attached each of the glass pieces. All of this combined makes the shade very heavy!! If you read the directions though you are to attach each of these pieces last. Personally no could not imagine reaching up this high and screwing all of these strips on. Thankfully between my husband and myself we were able to wire and hang the light without removing the strips tindo so. It was hard, but I honestly do feel it would have been harder to attach them after hanging the frame. All in all it worked out fine and we both love this light in foyer. It was gorgeous as gold but love it as black also."
