this receiver did not work. It was the wrong kit for my fan.

I bought a ceiling fan, and this remote came with it. I washed it in the machine by accident, and it was fine. It fell off my bed another time and did not work after that. My light switch was not on at the time it fell off the bed, so I was unable to use the fan or the light, so I had to buy another and it's very pricey for a remote, $50, not pleased.
