Yes, I love the look

"Yes, I love the look of this fan light combination unit. It is kind of different because most ceiling fans have light kits. This unit strikes me as a light with a fan kit. You really don’t see the fan with the light housing. Everything is assembled. No balancing fan blades. There was one concern I had. When I read the description it mentioned a 20 inch down rod. I thought that might be too low for my room. Much to my pleasure, it came with a 20 inch and a 6 inch down rod. The shade color is called oil rubbed bronze. It’s not the ORB I am used to. I would call it a oil rubbed steel color. This super looking fan/ light combo will definitely be the talk of your next dinner party."

Parrot uncle sounds like a

"Parrot uncle sounds like a brand of tequila or Rum, but however silly the name, they are a solid fan company. I have another style in my office feom this. Company that has performed flawlessly. Pros : multi surface ceiling bracket, being its oversized and has octo box, wood stud, drywall and concrete mounting holes and includes anchors. Safety cable installed in the wire tube. Plug in light box, easy. Simple wiring diagram, and easy to use . Remote transmitter fits in the canopy cover (not in junction box) eliminating pinched wires..cool design. Quiet and powerful. .cons: not much other than the price. Its heavy at 28 lbs. Must be hung on a metal box or braced with a 2x4 in ceiling. Also the manual instructs the user to tighten the suspension System connections every 6 months. Concerning."

Replaced an old plain white

"Replaced an old plain white 48” ceiling fan/light with this. It upgrades the whole look of the house by thousands. Love the look, it went in easily, fan is powerful. Don’t love all the remotes, want it built into the wall switch so changing that over. Replacing many fans with updated fandaliers and this is my favorite. It’s in our great room. Used soft white bulbs, not bright. It does give a disco ball effect with lights and fan on."

"I am pretty sure this ceiling fan has brought up the property values in the entire city. I only wish they made other light fixtures to match (wall sconce, etc. ). I had a professional do the installation. It did not come with light bulbs or the remote control battery (I wish I got light bulbs that weren’t so bright- I plan on switching these daylight bulbs out soon. The battery is the same kind for the apple remote control (you’ll want to have this on hand when you get it installed. ) I installed mine on a switch that has a dimmer (it recommends you do not install it on a dimmer) I turned the dimmer all the way down (the lights will flicker if it’s all the way up. ). The remote control takes a minute to learn- it has a pause and then beeps. The fan is so strong I do not put it on more than half way."
