Another plus is that all the wires are marked so no mistakes. I like the integration of the blades to the fan housing in a more modern concept. I installed the fan with a vaulted ceiling and had plenty of clearance without specialized hardware. The remote syncs up effortlessly, just read the instructions, then hold the button."

"The Parrot Uncle fan moves so much air even on the lowest setting. Very pleased with the style and how quiet the fan runs. Installation was somewhat of a challenge. Considering you need to cram a receiver and five wires & wire nuts in the canopy, the canopy is too small for an easy installation.I did trim off the excess wire. I also had a hard time attaching the decorative trim piece. I have installed dozens of fans over the years and this one was the most difficult. Once installed, I love the fan & lighting."

"A nice ceiling fan This 52 in. Integrated LED Indoor Dark Bronze Ceiling Fan with Remote and Light Kit by Parrot Uncle is well-made and it looks great. This fan has a contemporary look and the dark finish makes it look cool and sleek. The instruction manual is clear and gives a step-by-step guide to assemble the fan. It took me less than an hour to get it on the ceiling. To take down an existing fan was actually harder. The fan motor was quiet and generated enough airflow to my bedroom. I like the convenience of the remote control but the fan light on/off button was also used to change the brightness of light. It is confusing."

"We selected the Uncle Parrot fan for our rec room because of the size and the control with a remote. The fan is super quiet and very well balances. The style of this fan makes it a fit in a modern decor as well as contemporary. The fan was very easy to install and has all the mounting hardware needed. If you have high ceiling you may want to use a longer down rod. We love this fan...it moves air very efficiently."

"I got this fan a couple weeks ago. It is a very nice looking fan. Its made of good materials. It comes with everything needed to install it except for the tools. The blades snap together on the center peice. Then you screw them together. It is an easy to install fan if you knpw what you are doing. If not you should hire a licensed professional to install it."
