We got this fan to

"We got this fan to go in our new workshop. The workshop is all tongue and groove boards with a wood floor - and this fan really fits the decor. It comes with a remote for controlling the power, lights and fan speed. The owner's manual mentions a holder for the remote but we could never find it. So we will just have to be careful and keep up with the remote. The remote is crucial - without it you can just turn the fan on and off. We were surprised by the location of the fan reverse switch - it is inside the glass globe. You have to remove the globe to change the rotation of the fan blades. The fan does take two standard light bulbs. No need to buy special bulbs."

"This Parrot Uncle - Parrot Uncle Antone 52 in. Indoor Black Downrod Mount Industrial Ceiling Fan with Remote and Light Kit is a very unique fan. The instructions are well-illustrated and the wiring is simple with the easy to hang bracket. The clear seeded glass allows brighter light in rooms-especially in kitchens for cooking. The remote control is not integrated but wiring the control box is a breeze. Upon turning on, the remote worked first try. Cool! The remote is programmable for multiple fans. The unit is quiet and once I leveled the blades-any noise was barely noticeable. Tip: If the fan is considerably out of balance try moving the blades to opposite locations before using the level kit. Sometimes this fixes issues and makes balancing minimal. If this unique fan is in one's budget, I feel it will be a talk-piece and function well for many years in any home's decor."
