"This satin nickel ceiling fan is lite and easy to install. the directions need a little guessing, Not very good English. If you've installed other fans then this wont be hard. This fan is bright and will light up any room easily. It uses AC to DC motor so it has a low power draw and will save on electricity. You will need a 2032 battery for the remote. It doesn't come with one .and you need the remote for the fan to operate. all in all it is a nice very bright ceiling fan that's a little different."

Pretty easy install, if you

"Pretty easy install, if you have ever installed a ceiling fan before, this one runs the course as the rest. Wire management inside the housing is a concern, but after playing electrical Tetris for a few minutes, we figured out how to get it all in there. The light is very cream-blue–white. There’s no dimming which is frustrating because we placed it in our bedroom. The air movement is pretty good. However, it’s basically downward with not much movement going outward. That being said, after 15 minutes, laying watching TV under it, I realized I was cold and threw a blanket over myself. The finish is nice. It seems more of a painted finished than backed on, but it’s on the ceiling, no one is touching it. Good luck watching TV though. The glare on our big screen TV is pretty bad. But that’s not the fans fault it’s just the nature of this kind of light fixture. It didn’t come with batteries for the remote and the thing doesn’t work without the remote. That would be a huge frustration but luckily I had the batteries in a drawer downstairs from my car key fobs. The wind function is novel. If I wasn’t watching TV, it wouldn’t be annoying but it basically amps up and then reduces the speed giving you a simulated breeze experience. However, when it goes to the highest, you have the “fan sound“ and then it relaxes back down and up. It’s an interesting idea, but probably more so for relaxing and reading a book or taking a nap."

I had been eyeing this

"I had been eyeing this light for a few years and finally got it. The install was very straight forward. I only have 1 switch in my room, so the remote control is fantastic. There is supposedly 2 light intensities you can pick from - I don't see a difference. Very quite fan ranging from gentle breeze to wind storm - also has a "natural wind" function that fluctuates the fan speed. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is due to the delay of the light turning on when it is "cold" - it literally takes 3-4 seconds."

"This is a very well made and stylish fan. I have recently hung three other fans and the attention to detail for this on was impressive. My one slight complaint was the use of an oversized bracket that did not fit my receptacle, which is standard. They provide wood screws and anchors, but that is not my preferred method of mounting. I would have subtracted 1/2 star, but that's not an option."

This is the absolute best

"This is the absolute best and best looking ceiling fan I've ever had. It looks like a gorgeous art piece. It moves plenty of air, more of a side-way draft than a straight under the fan breeze, which we find more comfortable. The light is brighter than any other ceiling fan I've ever had. We're so pleased with this fan that we bought another one for our living room- a big update there as well."

Q&A

Hello, I have ordered two of these fans for our house, and they haven't arrived yet, but after reading the installation manual online, I am concerned that the mounting bracket requires either a wood or concrete ceiling. We have a fan metal rated box, and the bracket shown in the picture doesn't appear to accommodate this type of installation. Can you please confirm that's the case, and if so, is there a work-around or solution? Thank you, Justin Tozer
