Cool ceiling fan with 52" span. I chose it because it was different than your average ceiling fan. I am looking forward to the breeze it provides!

We got this fan to go in our new workshop. The workshop is all tongue and groove boards with a wood floor - and this fan really fits the decor. It comes with a remote for controlling the power, lights and fan speed. The owner's manual mentions a holder for the remote but we could never find it. So we will just have to be careful and keep up with the remote. The remote is crucial - without it you can just turn the fan on and off. We were surprised by the location of the fan reverse switch - it is inside the glass globe. You have to remove the globe to change the rotation of the fan blades. The fan does take two standard light bulbs. No need to buy special bulbs.
