It looks cool and is very sturdy, and we got it to replace our lighted fan in our bedroom (which worked fine, this was a cosmetic choice).

This fan unit isn’t working. The light turns on. Despite checking all connections and terminal the fan turns on, stops, reverses, starts, stops and then no longer receives any commands. I have messaged the seller and emailed and am trying to return per policy but all that I get is that they will send another motor. I explain everything and I get seemingly two to three people frantically responding to me and they offered me $20 and told me I could sell it? I have installed this same fan twice and I am tired of trying to install the blasted thing for it to fail. I am reaching out to support.

Update: they have apologized; they offered $20 and offered to send a replacement motor; however I have already gone and gotten a basic fan installed in the room. They have agreed to refund me.
